One of the best days ever

It's not gonna be the fun stuff I did lately but it's just a recap of what I have done so far and I think it's the best time to do it now. Ups and downs happen. I don't clasify downs as difficulties or bad luck or whatever... I take it as a challenge. Without obstacles and challenges, I'll never improve to be a better man. I realized how wonderful life is when things just fit together like a finished jigsaw puzzle on some days.

I did so much this week. I couldn't believe it how much I did in a week not only studying but fun stuff that I'll remember for the rest of my life. I performed on stage for the 1st time in the US. It was a hip hop dance performance. It was held at Sullivant Hall.. one of the buildings at Ohio State University. Beside my dance performance, there are many more types of dance performed by other classes like jazz, tap, break etc. I'm still not over what had happened to me before the performance. I was late for the performance just because I couldn't find a parking spot. Guess what, I was stuck in traffic on campus for some time and there are hundrerds of people and cars everywhere on campus. I was wondering what the hell was going on that time. Without thinking twice, I went into a parking garage near Sullivant Hall and keeping my finger cross that I could find a parking spot a.s.a.p. It was quite a long queue at the entrance of the parking garage. What the hell!?!? It's 7pm and what are these people doing here. The lady standing at the entrance was collecting $5 for the event parking. I told her 'what event?' I'M HERE FOR MY CLASS not some events. She was quite nice actually... she said that she didn't want to argue with me because the queue was piling up and she just handed me a parking ticket and asked me to go ahead. What a day...

I knew I was late because one of my classmate told me that our performance is gonna be next. I was like... oh my god.. dunno what to do... pray & hope for the best. Right after I parked, I ran as fast as I could to the hall. As I'm closing in, I could hear the music played from the backstage. I was like... oh no.... this is da song! I saw my group of people dancing on stage already. A few of them spotted me and asked me to join them quickly. Without thinking, I jumped right in and started dancing with them. I did the best I could and even forget bout stage fright. While dancing and breathing heavily, I just realized a huge audience infront of me watching us dancing. Oh my god... I can't explain how I felt at that time. Incredible... awesome performance. When the performance ended, I was shouting with joy that we did it! My classmates were astonished with what I did and congratulate me for a great performance. Everyone was really cool about it and we had so much fun. People came up to me.. shook my hand with respect. Everything just happened incredibly fast. One of my classmate invited me to his house party after finals. They're great.. just great! You feel that way if you're in my shoes... the only asian in the group. It was really fun... hip hop dancing with a little breaking.
